A level specification field days

We have developed field days that support the new A Level Geography specifications for a number of exam boards including WJEC, AQA, Cambridge International or ‘CIE’,OCR and A level Environmental Studies. These days are designed to cover the fieldwork requisites of the new spec such as sampling techniques and data collection and will be based around the available specimen papers for the exam boards.


– Geography – the fieldwork will be designed to cover all the criteria for the Unit 4A Geography fieldwork Investigation paper.

– Environmental Studies – the field work will be designed to cover Unit 3.1.5 The living Environment; Practical Skills and Unit 3.2.4 The Physical Environment : Soil analysis.


Unit G2 Changing Humans Environments; 2.4 hydrological processes, 2.6 Rural settlements.
Unit G3 Contemporary Themes and Research in Geography; Coastal processes and management, Ecosystems, and individual field investigation for Section B.
Unity G4 Sustainability; Air pollution.


Geography Unit F764 Geographical Skills, Unit F761 Managing Physical Environments – River and coastal environments.


Biology Populations and sustainability Practical skills.
